S³ is the modern legacy of the CGG exploration company created by the Schlumberger brothers back in 1931.
In 2019, Jean-Baptiste, Jacques, Patrick, Loïc, Thomas and Laurent, a hard core of CGG employees, decide to take over the CGG land seismic activities and create a new company with a modern way of geo-exploration. A cohesive team with a worldwide experience and a high level of expertise in geophysics. Supported by the financial participation and strong commitment of Eiffel Investment as main shareholder.
