Seismic data acquisition in water environment for ASN in Malaysia

Test of a cutting-edge receiver technology, DAS (Distributed Acoustic Senesing) in shallow water condition. A 23km long optical fiber cable has been laid on the sea bottom. Recording of the seismic wavefield is done by analyzing light propagation inside the cable thanks to ASN technology (OptoDAS). This technology offers incredible spatial sampling! Moving forward to seismic sensing next gen !
